FAQ

About our services

How do I get started?

Request a consultation online or call us at (407) 232‑0406. We'll learn what you need, send you our questionnaire and explain the next steps.

What if I'm afraid I'll fill something out wrong?

That's what we're here for. We prepare your documents accurately and in the correct format from the information you provide, and you review everything before you sign or file.

Can you help with business filings?

Yes. We prepare business documents such as LLC formation paperwork and registered agent updates, along with contracts, leases, bills of sale and promissory notes, all from the information you provide.

What does a document preparer do?

We prepare documents based on the information you provide, making sure they're accurate, organized and properly formatted. We don't give legal advice or represent you in court.

Are you a law firm?

No. Just Scale Group LLC is a non-lawyer document preparation service. We don't provide legal advice, legal strategy or representation, and no attorney-client relationship is formed. When you need legal guidance, we can refer you to a licensed attorney.

Can you tell me which forms I need?

We can't choose forms for you or advise you on what to file. That decision is yours, or your attorney's. Once you know what you need, we prepare the documents accurately from your information. The helpful links further down this page include official self-help sources that explain common forms.

What family law documents do you prepare?

For self-represented clients we prepare divorce petitions and answers, parenting plans, timesharing documents, child support worksheets, financial affidavits and family law motions.

Do you help with civil, small claims, probation or expungement paperwork?

Yes. We handle the administrative preparation of civil and small claims documents, and we prepare and organize probation-related forms, expungement paperwork and supporting documentation.

Can you help with immigration, including E‑2, EB‑5 or L‑1 visas?

Our immigration support is referral-based. We connect you with licensed immigration attorneys, including specialists in business and investor visas. All legal advice comes directly from the attorney; after you receive legal direction, we help organize your information.

Do you offer services in Spanish?

Yes. Every step, from your first call to your final review, is available in English or Spanish.

Timing, payments & privacy

How long does document preparation take?

Standard preparation is 24–72 business hours after we receive all of your information and payment. Complex documents or large volumes can take longer, and we'll give you a realistic estimate up front.

How do payments work?

Payment is due in full before preparation begins, and you can pay securely online. Court filing fees aren't included; those are paid directly to the clerk of court when you file.

Make a payment

Can I get a refund?

Because each document is prepared for you, payments are final once work has begun. If you cancel before work starts, a partial refund may be issued at our discretion. Clerical errors on our part are corrected at no cost if reported within seven days of delivery.

Will my information be kept private?

Yes. Client information is handled with discretion and stored securely, and we never sell your data. Completed documents are kept for 30 days after delivery, so please save your own copies. See our privacy policy for details.

Notary & RON

Can I get something notarized online?

Yes. With Remote Online Notarization you can sign from anywhere in the U.S. over a secure video session. You'll need a device with a camera, a stable connection and a valid photo ID.

Do you travel to notarize documents?

Yes. Mobile appointments are available by request, as are in-office signings. Request a consultation and tell us where you'd like to meet.

Where do you work with clients?

We meet clients in person and online. Remote Online Notarization is available nationwide; for document preparation, contact us to confirm availability for your location.

Still have questions?
